  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • ½ cup bell pepper (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 packet chili seasoning mix
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 14.5 oz diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 2 cups macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Add onions and cook until softened.
  2. Stir in bell peppers and garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Add chili seasoning mix and tomato paste; combine well.
  4. Pour in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth; bring to a boil then simmer.
  5. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  6. In another pot, melt butter and whisk in flour; gradually add cream and milk until smooth.
  7. Stir in seasonings and cheese until melted.
