Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a soup pot over medium-high heat. Sauté the chopped onion and celery for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Introduce the ground beef to the pot; break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned, about 8 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir for another 1-2 minutes to combine well.
  5. Incorporate tomato paste until evenly mixed.
  6. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, diced potatoes, and sliced carrots. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for at least 30 minutes until veggies are tender.
