Ingredients
- 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
- 12 pack Hawaiian rolls
- 11 slices Colby jack cheese
- 1 large sweet onion (diced)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 24 dill pickles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place cut side up on a lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and broil for 3-4 minutes until golden.
- Lower oven temperature to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper, then press into a casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Sauté diced onions in butter over low heat until browned (about 15 minutes).
- Drain excess juices from cooked beef. Assemble sliders by layering pickles on the bottom buns, topping with beef, cheese, and sautéed onions before placing the top buns back on.
- Brush tops with melted butter and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
