Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
  • 12 pack Hawaiian rolls
  • 11 slices Colby jack cheese
  • 1 large sweet onion (diced)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 24 dill pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to broil.
  2. Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place cut side up on a lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and broil for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  3. Lower oven temperature to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper, then press into a casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Sauté diced onions in butter over low heat until browned (about 15 minutes).
  5. Drain excess juices from cooked beef. Assemble sliders by layering pickles on the bottom buns, topping with beef, cheese, and sautéed onions before placing the top buns back on.
  6. Brush tops with melted butter and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
