- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon zest (from about 3 lemons)
- 2 tbsp dried culinary lavender buds
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- Fresh lemon juice

- Using a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until fluffy (2-3 minutes). Add egg and mix until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients on low speed until just mixed; dough may appear slightly dry.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto prepared sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart. Flatten each ball gently.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden; cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- For glaze, mix powdered sugar with fresh lemon juice until smooth; drizzle over cooled cookies.
