  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 medium white onion (diced)
  • 4 cans pork and beans (14-ounce each)
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large frying pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and chop into small pieces.
  3. Sauté the diced onion in the remaining bacon grease until tender.
  4. Add ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and chopped bacon to the pan; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray and add drained pork and beans.
  6. Mix in the sautéed mixture thoroughly.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; then uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let sit for 20 minutes before serving.
