- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot)

- 1 lb. baby Yukon Gold potatoes
- 2 cups yellow onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- Olive oil, butter, and seasonings (black pepper, garlic salt, celery salt)
Instructions
- Cut stew meat into 1-inch cubes, seasoning with black pepper, garlic salt, and celery salt. Dust with flour.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet; brown the meat in batches. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Sauté diced onions and minced garlic in the skillet until softened; add to slow cooker with red wine and remaining ingredients except peas.
- Cook on low for 7.5 to 8 hours or high for 3.5 to 4 hours until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in frozen peas during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
