Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 6 flour tortillas (street taco size)
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Burger pickles
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickles (chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon pickle juice
  • ½ teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Optional toppings: bacon, white onions

Instructions

  1. Make the Burger Sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, garlic powder, pickle juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with kosher salt and black pepper; form into six equal balls.
  3. Preheat a flat top griddle over medium-high heat. Cook each beef ball for about 40 seconds before smashing into patties with a burger press. Flip and immediately add cheese.
  4. Toast tortillas on the griddle alongside the patties until warm.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing cooked patties on tortillas and topping with shredded lettuce and pickles. Drizzle with burger sauce and add optional toppings as desired.
